We would like to take a moment to update you on the Coronavirus (COVID-19). We understand this may be a source of concern for our patients and would like to provide you with some additional insight and information.
What We Know:
The risk of getting COVID-19 in the United States is currently low. The reported cases of COVID-19 out of an estimated 39.9 million people in the state of California is .0001% of the population.
Someone who has completed quarantine or has been released from isolation does not pose a risk of infection to other people.
CDC does not recommend that people who are well wear a facemask to protect themselves from respiratory diseases, including COVID-19.
Facemasks should be used by people who show symptoms of COVID-19 to help prevent the spread of the disease to others and by health care workers.
What We Are Doing:
We are ensuring that all common areas are being cleaned and sanitized on a regular basis. This includes door knobs and all hard surfaces.
We will provide tissues, hand sanitizer, mask and gloves to our patient at front desk, for those who want them.
All of the frequently touched workspaces are routinely cleaned and sanitized after every patient.
We provide deep cleaning to each operating room, front office and waiting room several times a day.
All our tools are sterilized after each use to ensure 100% sanitization.
Our employees and doctors will not come to work if not 100% healthy.
At the time of confirming our patient’s appointment we advise our patients to stay home if they have any sign on symptoms of flu.
What You Can Do:
Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing; going to the bathroom; and before eating or preparing food.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
Stay home when you’re having any sign of flu symptoms, cough or fever.
Please let us know if you traveled anywhere with high risk of Coronavirus (COVID-9) (China, Korea, Iran and Italy) recently.
Sedation & Implant Dentistry Irvine team is closely monitoring this situation and will be vigilant to make sure all precautions recommended by the government agencies are taken to protect our patients and employee.
